It’s normal to be wary of therapy, that it will be too much, all at once. But real relief and positive change don’t happen when we’re flooded. Our sessions will instead help you to slow down with whatever you’re facing, so that you can feel more grounded, strong, and clear on what you need.
I work with clients who are struggling to show up in their relationships and daily lives how they want. Many of my clients begin therapy feeling disconnected from their feelings and bodies, and overwhelmed by life. I help my clients to feel un-stuck from old cycles of anxiety and perfectionism, reactivity and disassociation, shame and impulsivity.
Working together, you can come to feel less overwhelmed by whatever life brings, and more capable to engage with life in a way that feels authentic, healthy, and aligned with your values and goals.
Real support, at your own pace.
Learn to care for yourself with dignity and courage.

There are many ways we can work to transform your relational life. I help clients to uncover the core beliefs that might fuel maladaptive behaviors, coping strategies, and conflicts. Clients learn to face overwhelming emotions such as shame, fear, and self-loathing safely and gradually. Clients also learn to set and maintain boundaries that feel authentic and sustainable, including in relationship systems that involve substance use, abuse, mental or physical illness, or other forms of dysfunction. My approach allows clients to integrate their insights and skills across mind-body, creating real change in reactive patterns and capacity to act intentionally. Undertaking this attachment-focused work can have robust impacts on clients’ experiences of anxiety, depression, insomnia, and other mental and physical health issues.

Challenging adult child and parent relationships are common, and can be at the roots of wide-reaching dysfunctional patterns of behavior and thinking, low self-esteem and frustrating relationship habits. Addiction and other stressors and dysfunction in our childhood significantly impact how we develop as adults, often in ways we don’t even realize are related. Working on this topic in therapy can help clients cultivate healthier communication, self-esteem, and clarity about their past.

Perfectionism and anxiety can be paralyzing and detrimental to our goals and relationships, and can be rooted deeply in our psyches. I work with clients to explore the underlying beliefs and behaviors that contribute to distress, as well as the experiences that may have shaped these coping systems we develop to feel more in control. I offer practical tools for relief and a more balanced approach to life.

It is common for people to develop habits of disconnecting from their feelings and body to cope with stress and uncertainty. Feeling numb, “shut down,” or unsure of who you are can all be experiences of this. In therapy, you can gradually build your capacity to remain present in your life, and respond in more connected and intentional ways.

Grief is a universal experience that can arise around losses big and small, anticipated, chronic, or unexpected. Grief can be complex and layered in ways that take time, courage, and patience to uncover. I believe that the therapeutic relationship provides one form of safe and compassionate witnessing that is critical for everyone processing loss. For those interested in exploring different forms of spirituality as a tool for understanding loss, I help clients explore frameworks and practices that feel meaningful to them. Clients build everyday skills for managing and caring for their grief and related overwhelming feelings. For those clients facing various changes in their lives or identities, I offer a wealth of techniques for managing uncertainty, fear, and other challenging aspects of change, to foster a sense of stability and confidence.

I bring an intersectional and queer lens to all of my work. I enjoy working with clients who are exploring topics specific to queer life, relationships, and identities, and to whom it is important to have a provider who identifies within the LGBTQ+ community. These include topics of gender and non-traditional relationships.

Clients are welcome to bring the language and perspectives of their spiritual or religious beliefs to therapy. All spirituality can be a deeply helpful tool for therapy, to make sense of difficult things and cultivate purpose, peace, and belonging in the world. My own background is in Judaism and Buddhism, but I have much experience supporting clients from various Christian and other religious backgrounds. It is also common for clients to seek therapy to support transitions in their relationship to their faith and faith communities.
